HOLIDAY IN NAMIBIA!!

 

In my holiday I went to Namibia. We flied in a full night! We had a TV in the plane and we got a lot of food. When we arrived, we came to an airport and it was very windy and cold because it was winter there. But it was warmer further into the country.

 

We used to drive from place to place and spent the night in cabins. In the evening we ate good food that I never had tasted before.

 

In all lodges (cabins) were a swimming pool! But it was very cold because it was very cold at night.

 

Now I will tell about the exciting things I did there:

 

The first day we were at the lodge where we saw lions eat meat!! We swam in the swimming pool and ate antelope meat. It tasted almost like moose and very good. Next day we went on safari!

 

We saw: Giraffe, kudu, various antelope species, warthogs, rhino, crocodiles (two meters away) colourful birds and many other cool animals!!

 

 

 

 

 

 One day we were allowed to drive a mini bus with 9 persons! It was not so difficult. I drove in a big park whose name is Etosha Park.

The animals there were free in this area! It was so exiting!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Another day we went on a mountain and it was a very nice view. One day we drove to the coast. It was very high waves there, and colder than in inland. We were on the beach and found a lot of fine things there.

 

We were also in the desert and sand dunes and we had done sand boarding! I drove down with ca.54km/h!! It was very funny! We saw also cheetahs and leopards. I could stroke the cheetahs!

 After 14 days with fun we flied home again.I will never forget this holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
